About Us

As owner of Rapid Results Dog Training I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and I enjoy being with them and training them. And because of my affection and admiration for our canine friends, I think that training should be as much fun as it is effective.
That said, I believe that some trainers, probably the majority of them, love dogs so much that they truly believe dogs should (and can) be trained with positive reinforcement techniques alone. In other words, they believe that dogs can be trained effectively and reliably without any corrections whatsoever. While this may be true in a perfect world, unfortunately, we and our dogs live in the real one. When a practitioner of "totally positive reinforcement" training tells you that they are simply training "naturally", a good question to ask is that when a mother gives one of her pups a nip on the back of the neck for misbehaving, isn't she training "naturally"?
So here at Rapid Results we blend several training methods in a way that best fits each dog's personality and temperament. We heavily implement positive re-enforcement with our system of Reward Marker Training and also use mild leash pressure along with Remote Collar Training to quickly get your dog off leash trained and reliable in the gentlest and fastest possible way.
Our techniques at Rapid Results Dog Training are designed to give you a well behaved and well trained dog in real world situations. The training takes place in your home and neighborhood and even in parks around other dogs and people. In other words, we train your dog through the distractions he is likely to see in everyday life.
Many training facilities offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced training courses. With our training, we take your dog from untrained to advanced in as little as 5 weeks and in nearly every case we can have your dog walking with you at heel, off leash, reliably, in less than 5 training sessions.
So when you're shopping for a trainer (a good idea) be sure to ask what kind of results you can expect, and how long it should take to get them. Also ask if the trainer is willing to show you how well trained his or her dog is in any environment -- for instance, in your front yard. That's what we do at Rapid Results. We demonstrate how well trained our dogs are off leash right in your front yard
